In which of the two lines, would it be easier for you to locate the subscribe button?
Label your buttons and links to be clear, specific, and encouraging.
Vague links like “read more”, “learn more”, etc. will leave your users clueless.
Would you not argue with me over the fact that we generally have whole content(sentence) before the “learn more” that describes it?
UX is not just about making it possible but also making it much easier and welcoming to do.
With vague links, you only force your users to do recall over recognition.
Today, I wanted to unsubscribe from a newsletter. I searched for it at the bottom of the mail. Guess what? They had put numerous other links there, all labeled as “click here”.
I had to read the full sentences to find the one I needed
Aman, but how to label them correctly?
Use descriptive words.
Your links need to describe themselves. They need to have a great information scent.
eg:-
1)”Order Biryani”
2) To order Biryani, “click here”
The difference between them is that the first describes itself and the second describes the mouse function needed to use it.
Label your link to be clear and specific.
