Users need to learn about your product before they buy it. And that is where the best sales opportunity is, the product details page.
Nothing would be more attractive than a benefit. May it be a good camera to capture memories or the bright colors to be flaunted.
When you place the “Buy button” straight away on the product listing page, you encourage them to believe you blindly and buy the product, which is never gonna happen.
Placing the button on the product details page would be a good choice to let them buy the product. This page is where you go by educating them about the benefits over price.
*Note:- This placement of button is for products that users need to research deeply about. If it is something users already know about like fruits and groceries you are good to go with the “add to cart” button on the product listing page.
