Try this to create a good User Experience

Creating a good user experience involves understanding how users react to different scenarios.

Humans can grasp only limited knowledge in a given time. Just like we cannot eat the whole plate once, we cannot learn and grasp something all at once.

When you are displaying information decide where on the graph(image) you lie. You should be on the approximate left.

But not too left. Not too right.

Of course the information amount you should be giving to users depends on the context.

For example, when you are deciding on subscribing to a newsletter you just need two options “subscribe” and “don’t subscribe” and they do the thing.

But if you go for just one button — “subscribe” thinking of reducing the choices, you would do the exact opposite. They wouldn’t want to subscribe to you but you won’t be giving them a chance to do so. You will just put a big barrier between them and you. And sadly they will never want to cross that barrier.

This would go the same as having too many options. For the above scenario, placing too many options would do equally bad as compared to placing one option.

There’s a fine line between “too much”/”too little” and “enough”. Be on that line.
